From July 23 to 26 the Medieval Nights return to San Marino
San Marino returns back in time with the Medieval Days. The whole city is crossed by a suspended and magical atmosphere, including music, historical re-enactments, competitions and flavors of the past.
By day and by night the streets are filled with inviting aromas of dishes prepared according to ancient recipes and served in the restaurants of the center.
At the Cava dei Balestrieri night shows are held, from the opening party with the parade of Balestrieri, Sbandieratori, Musici and Figuranti to the shows that retrace the most evocative events of the history of San Marino.
Sunday, July 26 grand finale with the Disfida del Tricorniolo, a particular shooting competition with the antique Italian crossbow, a test of skill made even more spectacular by the difficulty of handling the weapon.
